These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of HabitCore (the "App"), provided by EntropyApps ("we", "our", or "us"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
1) Eligibility and Account
- You must be able to form a binding contract where you live.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and any credentials used with the App.
2) License and Use of the App
- We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App in accordance with these Terms.
- Free features are available to all users; Premium features require an active subscription (see Subscription Terms).
- You may not reverse engineer, resell, scrape, or misuse the App.
3) Content and Data
- You retain ownership of your content. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to process your data solely to operate and improve the App.
- We do not sell your personal data. See the Privacy Policy for details.
4) Subscription Terms
- Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled. Free trials convert to paid unless canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends (store policies apply).
- Billing at launch: Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Renewal occurs within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period unless auto-renew is turned off. Apple App Store support may be introduced later.
- You can cancel or manage your subscription at any time in your Google Play account settings. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.
- If a trial is offered, the duration is currently 3 days for all plans unless otherwise stated by your store. Unused portions of a free trial may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription where applicable.
5) Refunds
Billing and refunds are handled by Google Play. We cannot directly issue refunds. Please consult Google Play's refund policies.
6) Changes to Terms and the App
- Reasons for changes: We may modify these Terms or the App for valid reasons such as security, safety, preventing abuse, complying with guidance or requirements, adapting to technical developments, or adding/removing features.
- Notice: We will show changes by updating the Effective date in this document and by posting a summary in the App's store listing (e.g., "What's new" on Google Play). We do not send individual emails or push notifications about changes.
- Your responsibility: You are responsible for reviewing the current Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the App and cancel any subscription before the effective date of the change.
- If a change materially disadvantages paid users: you may cancel before the change takes effect. If you have paid in advance, any refund for the period after termination will be handled via your app store where available.
- Service availability: Features may change or be discontinued at any time. Some features may be subject to eligibility, device, or platform constraints.
7) Acceptable Use
- Do not use the App in ways that violate laws, infringe rights, or harm others.
- Do not attempt to access the App using unauthorized means, interfere with normal operation, or circumvent limits.
8) Health and Safety Notice
The App provides habit tracking and general insights only. It does not provide medical, psychological, or legal advice. Always consult a qualified professional for such guidance.
9) Third-Party Services
Some features rely on third parties (e.g., app stores for billing, subscription validation providers, crash reporting). Their terms and privacy practices apply in addition to ours.
10) Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
- The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied (including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement), to the maximum extent permitted by law.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or profits.
11) Termination
- You may stop using the App at any time and cancel subscriptions in your store account settings.
- We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or misuse the App.
